Has anyone else applied for the January terms? I'm curious to meet some other people who are interest in this program. Feel free to send me a message! :D
Sorry the room has been filled with another crec member. Thanks for the interest.
There are a lot of places downtown that have live music. I would look at the schedules at the Orpheum, Flagstaff Brewing Company, Charleys, the Monte Vista Lounge, and Mogollons to get an idea of what kinds of music they have. I think they all have websites.
There is a also an outdoor theatre and Fort Tuthill, this was the first summer it was open so I dont know much about it.
I have been accepted to start in January. I am a soon to be a graduate of Northern Arizona University, so I have been in Flagstaff for about 4.5 half years. I have an apartment with three other people and one is graduating, so we will have an open room in January. If anybody is interested let me know.
I'm looking forward to the program and spending more time in beautiful AZ. If anybody needs any info on Flagstaff I would love to help out the best I can.
Congrats to whomever is accepted! My name's Shannon and I started my 900hr term in September, so maybe I'll be seeing some of you (if anyone's 900hr starting in Jan.) towards the end of January in trails training... yeah trails!
I hope everyone has good luck with finding a place to stay and a ride out here. It's getting cold, so dress warm! Flag is apparently one of the snowiest cities in the US during a good winter.
=)
Congratulations again and have a happy Thanksgiving!

When I had my interview I asked how likely it was to get in, she said there are inbetween 75- 100 appicants and only 35 jobs, hope that helps Tony. I agree Danny how it is funny that all of us could soon be spending a lot of time together or maybe none at all. I can't wait to know, i'm a bit sick of say well I may be going, not quite sure, but hopefully i'm going to Arizona. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hey Tony,
Welcome to the club! Be optimistic, regardless of the outcome Thanksgiving is this week. What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for new socks, front porches/stoops, and baby carrots.
Funny how we are all on the threshold of either becoming friends and co-workers for the next half-year or just moving on.
There should be a title for the middle status between applicant and employee.

Hi Danny,
I was interviewed on Monday and I can't wait to hear if I'll be going to Arizona. Good luck with your interview and I hope to see you in Arizona!
Andrea and Erin,
Yes, I've also applied. My interview is tomorrow and at this point is the only limiting factor. If all goes well, I'll see you in January, which is already feeling quite close at hand. Have both of you interviewed?

Howdy,
I'll be starting the 1700 hr in a few weeks. It's good to see theres already some communication going on with the team members.
Tarek, I'd certainly be interested if the space in the apartment is still available. Let me know. What would the rent be?
I was also wondering if anybody knows what the local music scene in flag is like?
my e mail is sherlokthelord@yahoo.com, anyone feel free to say yo. Looking forward to meeting you all!
