Congrats to CREC's Graduating CorpsmembersOn Friday, about fifty people turned out to celebrate the graduation of nine 900-hour corpsmembers. The supervisors of the two graduating crews, Blackjack Yellowbellies and Quarter Pounder with Trees, shared stories about their crews and presented certificates, gifts, and words of thanks to the members. As always, the event was bittersweet, full of memories from the last six months, but sad with the realization that CREC was saying goodbye to another group of amazing people. Congrats to Tanner, Dulcy, Danny, John, Spencer, Tarek, Mike, and Aaron. Special thanks and congrats to Marti and Bis for their 2600 incredible hours of service! Thanks to each for your contributions to CREC and your service to the natural environment and each other. Good luck in your next adventures! Posted by Jeff Hankens at 09:42:27 on 25 June 2007.
