CREC's new Energy Conservation Corps Starts. This crew will be working all over the City of Flagstaff and Coconino County completing energy efficient retrofits on properties.

Orientation begins for 2 900 hour NACC crews at 7:30 AM!

CREC is currently accepting applications for 1700 and 900 hour service terms beginning January 14th, 2008. Application deadline is December 31st, 2007 so apply TODAY!

CREC will be hosting a ten year anniversary open house at our new location: 5410 E. Commerce Ave. in Flagstaff from 5 to 7 on the evening of November 2, 2007. All current members, alumni, partners and stakeholders are invited to attend. Call (928) 679-8173 for more information.

On Friday, November 2, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., the Coconino Rural Environment Corps (CREC) will host a Ten Year Anniversary Open House at their new facility located at 5410 E. Commerce Ave. in Flagstaff. In celebration of the move and anniversary, CREC is inviting all current and former members, partners, supporters and stakeholders to the open house.

National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands American’s enjoy. In 2006, about 100,000 volunteers built trails and bridges, planted trees and plants, and removed trash and invasive plants. More at http://www.publiclandsday.org/.
